Volunteering

There are several ways to volunteer at Cyrenians Farm:

Day volunteers
join us on an ad-hoc basis mainly to help with specfic seasonal tasks on the farm. This could range from mucking out the chickens to harvesting raspberries, to preparing a polytunnel for planting. You need not be a gardener, we also need delivery drivers, jam makers, kitchen hands, admin angels and lots of other jobs for those who have no green fingers.
Current opportunities:
Gardener
Office Admin
Delivery Driver
Handy person
Cook

Or, if you are aged 18-30 you could volunteer for us through Project Scotland. Click here for more details.

We also host volunteers from the European  Voluntary Service (EVS), the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and those Boys Brigade members undertaking their Queen's Badge.

Please phone 0131 333 5202 or email us if you are interested in volunteering.

They said it...
"It's good experience to learn new things and meet new people. It's very important to be close to nature."
Tamara from Italy

"I love working on the farm during the day. Some of the things I do are collecting eggs, digging, weeding and team challenges. I have always loved being close to nature and appreciate the simple things in life- fresh air, sunshine, planting something and seeing it grow. The farmers do such a great job, they put so much effort into their work. They are also very good at training you if you have never done this sort of work before. They are very patient and kind. I am happy to volunteer on the farm and learn new skills as I go along".
Ketai from England.
